Thanksgiving is only a few days away, and as a time of celebration, lots of fun should be had. Whether you’re celebrating with family or friends, there are many entertaining activities you can do.
Host a game night - Games always bring everyone together, whether they’re outside or in and a family day like Thanksgiving is the perfect time for a game night. This could be with an array or classic board games, garden games or using the old Nintendo Wii.
Family quiz - There’s nothing like a quiz to get the competitive streak going at a family gathering. You can choose someone to be the quiz master and write up all the questions, and then split into teams - let the games begin!
Go for a winter stroll - A little bit of exercise never hurt anyone, and on Thanksgiving, why not go for a walk? Wrap up in your warmest gear and take a stroll down to the local park for some family time together.
Get baking - Baking isn’t only fun but it means extra treats after Thanksgiving dinner. Pick a recipe that you’ll all love and get stuck in.
Host a kitchen concert - We’re not talking about hiring Beyoncé or Elton John into your kitchen but create a concert of your own. Set up a playlist and get singing. It can be your own sing-along family concert - after a few glasses of red, it'll definitely reach new heights.
